The Master Robotics Instructor will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced robotics and precision strike training, with a primary focus on:\nFirst Person View (FPV) attack/strike drones\nGround Organic Precision Strike Weapon Systems (GOPPS)\nThis instructor will construct and deliver the full period of instruction (POI), integrate capabilities into unit training and mission profiles, and support live-fire and field training exercises to ensure operational readiness.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, refine, and deliver comprehensive POI focused on:\n Attack Drones / FPV employment, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)\n Ground Organic Precision Strike Weapon Systems (GOPPS) employment and integration\nInstruct individual and collective training for MARSOC SR Teams in classroom, simulator, and field environments.\nDesign and execute practical exercise scenarios that replicate realistic operational environments, to include planning, rehearsals, and after-action reviews (AARs).\nIntegrate FPV and GOPPS capabilities into broader unit TTPs, mission planning, and rehearsals.\nEnsure training is compliant with all applicable safety regulations, range control procedures, and USMC/USSOCOM guidance.\nGain and maintain:\n Camp Lejeune Range Safety Officer (RSO) certification\n Camp Lejeune Laser Safety Officer (LSO) certification\nMaintain currency and proficiency with emerging FPV and precision strike technologies, platforms, and threat trends.\nCoordinate with unit leadership, range control, and other stakeholders to schedule and execute training.\nSupport the development and updating of training documentation, lesson plans, SOPs, and risk assessments.\nRequired Qualifications\nSOF/Recon Background:\nGraduate of a U.S. Assessment & Selection and Operator Qualification course, or\nDemonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience as an operator within one of the following communities:\nMARSOC\nU.S. Army Special Forces (SF)\nNaval Special Warfare (WARCOM)\nMarine Corps Reconnaissance\nInstructional Experience:\nMinimum 2 years of recent experience instructing a USSOCOM-approved:\nAttack Drone / FPV Course, or\nGround Organic Precision Strike Program of Instruction\nCertifications & Licenses:\nAbility to gain and maintain Camp Lejeune RSO certification\nAbility to gain and maintain Camp Lejeune LSO certification\nValid and current Class 2 FAA Medical/Physical\n Valid and current FAA Part 107 certification (Remote Pilot)\nValid U.S. Driver’s License\nSecurity Clearance:\n Active Secret clearance required (or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance).\nDesired Qualifications\nDeep familiarity with FPV drones, attack/strike drone employment, payloads, and countermeasures.\nExperience integrating unmanned systems and precision strike capabilities into SOF mission profiles (reconnaissance, target development, direct action, etc.).\nStrong communication and briefing skills; comfortable instructing small teams and larger elements.\nProven ability to work independently and as part of a joint/combined team in a fast-paced training environment.\nStrong planning, coordination, and documentation skills (lesson plans, TTP updates, AARs, risk assessments).","description_format":"text","description_chars":3312,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":true,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Military Training","Intelligence"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-11T02:11:37Z"}],"liveness":{"score":4,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.142,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":295,"expected_fill_days":30,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":120000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/threattec-robotics-instructor","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/threattec-robotics-instructor.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T22:08:52Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":152,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4848,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
