In addition, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for coordination of vendors as needed.\nTHIS ROLE WILL BE COVERING OUR SOUTH SIDE PROPERTIES\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis role includes knowledge of the following duties and responsibilities however minimal on the job training can be provided as necessary.\nRepair of the door and lock installation\nMinor repairing of small appliances and furniture\nMinor Patching and painting of drywall\nBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry\nCheck and clean roof systems, including gutters and downspouts\nAssist in scheduling all building inspections\nSupervise vendors on care and upkeep of building and grounds\nAssist in establishing priorities for major maintenance projects and make recommendations for improvements.\nServe as liaison for Director of Facilities, Project Managers, and Facilities Manager with contractors, regarding remodeling, and repair of properties.\nDetermine and interpret codes and regulations covering facilities, equipment, and building items with compliance with codes and regulations.\nAvailable for emergency needs as necessary after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.\nAdvise Facilities Manager regarding major emergency repair decisions.\nAdhere to all facility policies and procedures regarding safety.\nOrder and obtain materials to be used by the maintenance department.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nRequired to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays; available on-call 24 hours.\nMay be required to serve in the role of the site manager.\nEDUCATION\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nEXPERIENCE\nPreferred - Two (2) to five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or related profession and the ability to learn a wide variety of new skills and tasks associated with the performance of the duties assigned.\nKnowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.\nStrong follow-up and accurate and timely record keeping.\nAbility to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.\nAbility to handle a variety of changing duties resulting from the complexities of maintenance work requirements.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nAccess to a reliable vehicle to travel between locations\nWHAT SETS THRESHOLDS APART:\n Competitive Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 an hour / $47,800 - $54,000 annually\nGenerous PTO (9 federal holidays, 8 days of sick leave, 15-22 days personal and vacation)\n4 medical insurance plans, dental insurance, & vision insurance\n403(b) retirement plan with 3% employer match \nRobust employee assistance program (EAP)\nMileage reimbursement \nCell phone reimbursement (up to $50/month)\nThresholds is a mission-driven agency with a deep commitment to fostering an environment where all feel valued and respected, a place where every employee can be themselves, thrive, and support the agency’s mission.
