This is a great opportunity to become part of a professional, friendly and growing team, supporting the smooth and efficient running of our credit control function.\nWorking closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate customer accounts, supporting the timely collection of outstanding payments and helping to ensure our financial processes run effectively.\nDay to day, you can expect your responsibilities to include:\nAnswering the direct Credit Control telephone line, monitoring the Credit Control mailbox and actioning queries and requests\nDealing with instalment plans and ensuring payments are received in accordance with agreed payment arrangement\nChasing small value debts\nProcessing client card payments in accordance with the firms policy and procedures\nProcessing scheduled monthly reports and distributing accordingly\nCompletion of new vendor forms\nAssisting the team with requests from Client and Fee Earners for copy invoices, statements and any other bill queries\nWhilst this role is based in Swindon there will be the opportunity for you to work with other fee earners based at our other offices.\nAbout you\nWe’re extremely proud of the relationship we’ve built with our clients and referrers, being recognised as their trusted legal partner.\nYour ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with our fee-earning teams will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and driving successful outcomes:\nExperience of working in a finance/office environment\nCredit Control experience preferred but not essential\nStrong administration experience\nBasic knowledge of accounts\nStrong IT skills with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly\nClear and concise communication skills\nWhat’s on offer\nBy joining Thrings you’ll become part of a supportive, inclusive firm offering a relaxed and trusting environment allowing balance between being in the office and working from home.
