This position’s primary objective is to complete customer project goals as defined within Thrive Project Plans, Orders and Scopes of Service. Additionally, M365 Implementation Engineers will work in tandem with Deployment Engineers to complete project-based prerequisite tasks necessary to activate Thrive service offerings. M365 Implementation Engineers will work with Engineers, Project Managers and Thrive clients to accomplish those goals and objectives.\nRequirements\nPrimary Responsibilities\nImplementation of IT projects related (but not limited to) the following:\nOffice 365 Email and Communication services\nMicrosoft Endpoint Management\nEmail migration between HEX, Exchange, O365 and Google environments\nAbility to handle diverse computing environments in a wide cross section of business clients\nAnalyze and document an unfamiliar client environment while assessing the quickest path to completion of project goals\nWork through the project process to reach a successful outcome by:\nPresenting implementation plans at technical kick off to inform the client of dependencies, requirements, potential conflicts, etc.\nWorking at direction of Engineering Management and Project Managers to complete engineering tasks in adherence to a formal project plan\nAssisting in completion of Support Handoff requirements to allow for long term maintenance by Thrive Service Desk\nClearly and professionally communicate project plans, potential impacts and testing procedures to customers\nTrack and manage time effectively to accomplish multiple ongoing projects\nQualifications\nMinimum\nBachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience\n2-4+ years of Administrative and/or Project experience with Windows Server and M365 Tenant Management\n2-4+ years of workstation, network, and/or server support experience\nExperience with monitoring and remote management tools\nSelf-motivated with ability to work both independently and in a team environment\nPreferred\nExperience using ServiceNow (or other project management software)\nExperience in ITIL methodology and change management processes\nWillingness to improve team process and contribute to team and company initiatives","description_format":"text","description_chars":2855,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Managed Security","Managed IT Services (MSP)","Cloud Consulting & Migration"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-29T21:47:41Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":4,"expected_fill_days":19,"reasons":["conf:0","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-04T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/thrive-managed-services-engineer-m365-implementation","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/thrive-managed-services-engineer-m365-implementation.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-05T00:52:20Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1084,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3916,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-06T00:00:00Z"}}}
