This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Inforce servicing across one of the industry's largest and most diverse insurance portfolios.\nThis leader will be responsible for defining and executing the vision for policyholder and advisor servicing capabilities throughout the customer lifecycle, driving transformation across digital experiences, operational workflows, servicing platforms, and AI-enabled automation. The role combines strategic product leadership with operational transformation and requires close partnership with Technology, Operations, Insurance Solutions, Actuarial, Advisor Experience, Customer Experience, Law/Compliance and Controllers.\nThe successful candidate will build and lead a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Owners while influencing cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in customer outcomes, advisor experience, operational efficiency, and straight-through processing.\nThis can be a remote position within the US.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nProduct Strategy & Portfolio Leadership\nDefine and execute the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Inforce servicing capabilities across Thrivent’s Life, Health, and Annuity businesses\n\nLead a portfolio of products supporting policy servicing, policy maintenance, premium servicing, beneficiary management, policy value transactions, and related Inforce servicing capabilities\n\nEstablish investment priorities aligned with enterprise objectives, customer needs, advisor expectations, and operational outcomes\n\nDrive modernization of legacy servicing platforms and supporting ecosystems through a product-led transformation approach\n\nBalance short-term business commitments with long-term platform modernization and strategic capability development\n\nInsurance Product Operationalization & Servicing Readiness\nPartner with Insurance Solutions, Actuarial, Underwriting, Distribution, Operations, and Technology teams to successfully objectives\n\nCustomer, Advisor & Servicing Transformation\nChampion customer-centric and advisor-centric product development practices\n\nPartner with business and operational leaders to redesign servicing journeys and eliminate friction across end-to-end experiences\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve digital adoption, increase self-service utilization, and simplify servicing interactions\n\nEstablish and monitor metrics that measure customer satisfaction, advisor satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business value realization\n\nAI, Automation & Operational Excellence\nLead the identification, prioritization, and implementation of AI-enabled servicing capabilities and intelligent automation opportunities\n\nPartner with Operations leaders to improve straight-through processing, reduce manual intervention, and simplify servicing workflows\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce servicing effort, improve cycle times, and increase operational scalability\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities that create competitive advantage\n\nProduct Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership\nLead and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Owners responsible for product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery execution\n\nPartner closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Data, and Operations teams to ensure successful product delivery and adoption\n\nInfluence technology investment decisions and architectural direction to support long-term business SKILLS\nRequired\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\n\n10+ years of experience in Product Management, Digital Transformation, Operations Transformation, or related leadership roles\n\n5+ years leading teams of Product Managers and Product Owners.\n\nDemonstrated success leading enterprise-scale product portfolios and complex transformation initiatives\n\nExperience developing product strategies and translating them into executable roadmaps\n\nStrong executive presence with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders\n\nExperience working in highly regulated industries and complex operating environments\n\nPreferred\nExperience in Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Annuities, Wealth Management, or Financial Services\n\nKnowledge of policy administration systems, servicing platforms, workflow technologies, and digital servicing ecosystems\n\nExperience leading modernization of legacy platforms and large-scale technology transformation programs\n\nExperience implementing AI, intelligent automation, workflow orchestration, or straight-through processing capabilities.\n\nExperience working with Agile Principles (not SAFe) and Product The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $177,984.00 - $240,803.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions.
