Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.\n Essential Functions:\nPractice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.\nTake drink orders and offer specials by describing the method of preparation and price for each.\nMake other drink recommendations, up-selling when possible.\nPrepare drinks to proper Thunder Valley standards and specifications.\nRecord transactions into the point-of-sale (POS) system following established Thunder Valley procedures.\nEnsure that all Guests are of legal drinking age and that they are not over-served following Company and Department procedures.\nEnsure that beverage stations are properly stocked and that products are fresh and rotated.\nCut and stock fresh condiments when needed.\nEnsure appropriate levels of glassware are available.\nFollow established side work duties.\nEnsure that all equipment is functioning properly including glass washers, ice machines, blenders, point-of-sale (POS) system, liquor dispensing system, and coolers. Report any malfunctioning equipment to Beverage management.\nEnsure that all health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAny combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education preferred.\nAbility to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nMust be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.\nPhysical Requirements:\nRequires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.\nRequires bending and reaching for supplies and equipment.\nAbility to lift, maneuver, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.\nMust be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift.\nManual dexterity to operate job related equipment.\nAbility to communicate using a two-way radio.\nWork Conditions:\nWork is typically conducted in the casino and bar areas, which may be hot, cold, noisy, and be in the presence of secondhand smoke. Tasks will be performed from a non-sitting position. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, kneel, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area. Team Member must possess proper safety training in the use of chemicals.
