This role ensures timely claim resolution, accurate recordkeeping, effective communication, and adherence to company quality standards and processes.Job Description\nKey Accountabilities:\nClaims Management\nProcess and administer customer claims, including dollar claims, material returns, and return-to-inventory transactions.\nManage supplier claims and coordinate communication regarding claim disposition and resolution.\nInvestigate and document claim issues by gathering relevant data, records, and supporting evidence.\nMaintain accurate records of all claim-related activities and resolutions.\n\nRejection Management\nCoordinate and process material rejections occurring within the facility.\nManage rejections processed through third-party subcontractors and sub-processors.\nTrack rejected and quarantined inventory to ensure proper disposition and inventory accuracy.\nMonitor claim status and follow through to final resolution.\n\nSample and Evidence Management\nReceive and manage customer-provided samples related to claims.\nCollect, package, and prepare samples for shipment to supplying mills as supporting claim evidence.\nGather and maintain photographic and physical evidence related to supplier and customer claims.\nEnsure documentation is complete, organized, and available for audits or reviews.\n\nCustomer, Supplier, and Mill Communication\nServe as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, mills, and internal stakeholders regarding claim-related matters.\nMeet and communicate regularly with mill technical representatives regarding claim status, investigations, and resolution activities.\nCoordinate plant-related claim communications and follow-up activities.\nProvide timely updates to all parties throughout the claim resolution process.\n\nInventory and Quality Support\nManage and monitor rejected and quarantined inventory.\nAssist with inventory disposition activities and material tracking.\nSupport quality initiatives by ensuring claims are handled in accordance with company procedures.\n\nMeetings, Reporting, and Auditing\nConduct and participate in weekly claim status meetings.\nPrepare reports and updates regarding open claims and inventory dispositions.\nSupport internal auditing activities as assigned.\nParticipate in layered process audits and other quality system reviews as needed.\nAssist with continuous improvement initiatives related to claims processing and quality management.\n\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
