This role partners with facility teams, product groups, global purchasing, and suppliers to provide technical metallurgical guidance. The position is responsible for failure analysis of field and shop components, generation of metallurgical testing requests, and collaboration with process partners to ensure product quality and continuous improvement.\nJob Description\nMonday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform failure analysis on engine components and systems.\nConduct product audits and metallurgical analysis of PPAP samples.\nDisposition components for metallurgical conformance.\nCollaborate with process partners to improve metallurgical processes and validate new suppliers.\nEvaluate new products, processes, or systems for feasibility and design compliance.\nPrepare and communicate results to internal customers, suppliers, team members, and business units.\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
