Enforce existing or develop and implement new plans coordinated with branch and corporate management to increase the reliability and continually improve the quality and efficiencies of the products and services provided by the business, while ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are in conformance with company goals.Job Description\n**Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm**\nKey Accountabilities:\nEnsure that all functional areas of the company work within a culture of continual improvement in support of corporate 6S and Lean initiatives.\nExecute and enforce plans and procedures to insure the safety of all employees and visitors at our facilities.\nEnsure operations and equipment is in compliance to corporate guidelines and OSHA Standards.\nEnsure that preventive and corrective action methods are followed to eliminate or correct procedures and practices which do not meet customer requirements.\nCorrect/clarify incorrect operational procedures.\nCommunicate and monitor progress towards company safety, returns and allowances, and on time shipment and 6S/Lean directives.\nEvaluate and recommend new equipment purchases to enhance quality, capabilities and productivity.\nManage maintenance of equipment to provide maximum availability and minimum down time.\nWork with the Plant Manager or Department Leader to establish goals, assess competency and direct operational output.\nHire, train, motivate, and discipline warehouse employees if requested or as required.\nPurchase or direct the purchase of necessary warehouse supplies to ensure the ability to comply with written work instructions and customer requirements.\nFrequent communication with Plant Managers and/or site Operations Representatives.\nTravel/visit to each site as required.\nAssist with customer problems, including on site visits where necessary.\nAttend regional and corporate meetings when required.\nPerform employee reviews as required or requested.\nOther operational duties as requested by Plant Manager.\nThis is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.\nMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
