# Purchasing Planner

Job Summary The Purchasing Planner is responsible for representing the Purchasing team in the monthly Demand Planning Process. As a representative of the supply-side of the business, this role has a unique perspective on the future demand expectations based on the point of view of Buyers, Product Management, and suppliers. This role brings that perspective into the Demand Planning process to discuss along with Sales how to best represent future demand that is current and realistic. This position reports into the Supply Chain Planning team which has ultimate responsibility for delivering to the business a consensus demand plan.The individual in this hybrid opportunity has the potential to support or work in Southfield, MI or Santa Fe Springs, CA Job Description Key Accountabilities Contribute to the demand planning process by bringing supply-side elements that are critical for consensus forecast.
