The ideal candidate will have experience delivering to construction sites, transporting heavy equipment, safely securing loads, and operating material handling equipment.This role is approximately 60% warehouse operations (loading and unloading trucks) and 40% driving as a backup CDL driver when needed.\nJob Description\nLocation\nToledo, OH\nSchedule\nDays, Monday - Friday\nStart times will vary\nWeekends as needed\nKey Responsibilities\nWarehouse Operations (Approximately 60%)\nLoad and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently.\nOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stage, and organize materials.\nAssist with receiving, inventory control, and warehouse organization.\nInspect materials for damage and ensure accurate shipment preparation.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.\nAssist with general warehouse duties as assigned.\nCDL Driving Responsibilities (Approximately 40%)\nServe as a backup Class A CDL driver and operate flatbed trucks as needed.\nDeliver heavy equipment and materials to construction sites and customer locations.\nOperate Manitou or Moffett truck-mounted forklifts for loading and unloading materials at delivery sites.\nSafely secure loads using proper tie-down and cargo securement methods.\nNavigate and back into tight delivery areas with precision and professionalism.\nDeliver throughout Ohio, Michigan, portions of Indiana, Pennsylvania, and New York.\nCommunicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customer site contacts.\nEnsure safe, on-time, and accurate deliveries while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies.\nQualifications\nValid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.\nMinimum 3-5 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.\nPrevious flatbed experience preferred.\nForklift experience required; Manitou/Moffett experience preferred.\nExperience delivering to construction sites and transporting heavy equipment.\nAbility to lift, move, and handle materials in a warehouse environment.\nStrong commitment to safety, attendance, and customer service.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends as needed.\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
