The Senior Support Analyst job works in the technical design, development, and implementation of application systems. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Implements detailed business, functional and technical requirements and specifications for applications.
- Develops applications and configures commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages.
- Manages application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.
- Prepares activity and progress reports regarding applications systems analysis and programming sections.
- Tracks and maintains up-to-date records of all configuration updates.
- Prepares and reviews the work of lower level professionals.
