This position will play a key role in leading the engineering practice, delivering the strategic transformation of the Financial Crimes Compliance domain including AML, Sanctions and Fraud monitoring / screening through the application of AI-powered solutions and modern cloud technologies.\nKey Responsibilities and Duties\nModifies formulation of system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.\n\nEvaluates and implements changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.\n\nApplies functions knowledge to flow charts, models, and procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.\n\nOversees the review of technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.\n\nCollaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.\n\nApproves and implements corrections on all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.\n\nEducates end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.\n\nCoaches and mentors lower level professionals.\n\nEducational Requirements\nUniversity (Degree) Preferred\nWork Experience\n5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred\nPhysical Requirements\nPhysical Requirements: Sedentary Work\nCareer Level\n9IC\n Required Qualifications:\n5+ years of hands-on and leadership experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS or GCP, including leading enterprise-scale technology initiatives.\n3+ years designing and developing cloud automation, configuration management, and deployment of enterprise-scale infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible, and Python.\nExceptional technical leadership in cloud foundational services, Identity & Access Management, and cloud governance, with a demonstrated ability to guide teams and set architectural direction.\nhands-on and oversight experience across languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or Node.js is expected, along with the ability to mentor engineering teams on best practices.\nDirect experience applying AI/ML solutions, tools, and technologies (such as large language models, intelligent automation, generative AI platforms, or AI-driven data analytics) to solve enterprise technology or business problems is required.\nRelevant domain experience within Financial Crime, Risk & Compliance, or related fields (such as AML, Sanctions Screening, and Fraud Detection/Prevention) is required, including familiarity with regulatory data requirements and Systems of Record (SoR) integration.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAWS Cloud Certification or Google Cloud Certification is desired, along with any certifications related to AI/ML platforms or data engineering. \nFamiliarity with cloud adoption frameworks, well-architected frameworks, account organization, and multi-account architecture is preferred \nFamiliarity with principles of network, application, and information security is preferred, particularly as applied to sensitive financial crime or compliance data.\nExperience leading or contributing to enterprise data foundation programs, such as data model design, data pipeline development, and technology adoption across multiple Systems of Record, is desired\nRelated SkillsApplication Programming Interface (API) Development/Integration, Automation, Communication, Consultative Communication, Containerization, DevOps, Enterprise Application Integration, Influence, Organizational Savviness, Problem Solving, Prototyping, Relationship Management, Scalability/Reliability, Software Development Life Cycle, Systems Design/AnalysisAnticipated Posting End Date:\n2026-10-21Base Pay Range: $141,000/yr - $185,000/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
