Success depends on being a trusted partner to developers, delivering practical, clearly explained fixes that make security feel like part of engineering.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nStrategy & Roadmap: Help shape the application security roadmap, with threat modeling, zero-day response and quality standards for security findings that reflect the evolving threat landscape.\nEngineering: Build and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, develop microservices, APIs and automation, and turn security requirements into developer-friendly workflows.\nAI Transformation: Secure AI-assisted development and the AI-enabled applications we adopt, and apply AI with guardrails and human review to triage, enrichment and remediation.\nTool & Capability Evaluation: Research and run proof-of-concept evaluations of security tools, benchmarking accuracy, coverage and developer experience to keep our toolset effective and cost-efficient.\nDeveloper & Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to development teams. Meet them where they work, help them prioritize and fix findings, and co-design secure workflows that don't slow delivery. Run office hours, coach teams on secure coding, and gather developer feedback to improve our tools and processes. Explain technical risk in plain terms to engineers, product owners and leadership.\nOperational Excellence: Keep the program healthy through application onboarding, ad hoc scanning, tool administration, SLA-based reporting and audit-ready documentation.\nEducational Requirements\nUniversity (Degree) Preferred\nWork Experience\n3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred\nPhysical Requirements\nPhysical Requirements: Sedentary Work\nCareer Level\n7IC\nRequired Skills :\n3+ years of experience in application security, security engineering, or software engineering with a security focus.\n3+ years of experience with AppSec tooling such as SAST, SCA, DAST/IAST or secrets detection.\n3+ years of experience with Java and/or Spring Boot, building microservices and/or REST APIs.\n2+ years of experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with scripting and/or automation (Python, Bash or similar).\nPreferred Skills :\n5+ years of experience in application security, security engineering, or software engineering with a security focus.\nBachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nWorking knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.\nExperience running developer enablement such as office hours, training, secure coding guidance or champions programs.\nDemonstrated experience partnering directly with software developers to resolve security issues.
