The team collaborates with Support and Technology teams as well as other leaders within Live Nation to ensure efficient and accurate programming of event builds, quality assurance and edits. The team drives special projects above and beyond the daily EP workflow that are proactive and innovative to improve the operational efficiency for Event Programming.\nTHE JOB\nReporting to the Manager, Event Programming Operations, the Event Programmer role consists of a high-level of interaction and communication with our clients as well as with our internal teams involved in creating event listings. The incumbent of this role is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and inputting accurate data into Ticketmaster’s proprietary Host programming system, following procedural best practices and established standards, and verifying the output. The tool knowledge set for the position includes Host and Host applications, EventPro, TM1 and EMT.\nKindly note this position does not involve event planning.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING\nMeet and exceed Event Management service level agreements\nAccurately input event data into Ticketmaster Host system and identify and resolve event related errors\nWork with clients, promoters, and internal departments such as marketing, accounting, customer service, event operations and support and client support, when creating events and distributing information regarding those events\nEstablish and develop relationships with assigned clients\nOn-Call schedule rotation amongst the team; after hour, weekend and holiday client support responsibilities\nFrom time to time, will be responsible for other duties as assigned by, but not limited to, Senior Event Specialist, the EM Manager, or the Regional Director of Event Management\nWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)\nMust have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays.\nMust be computer literate with excellent data entry skills.\nService oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.\nAble to successfully handle multiple priorities.\nCertain degree of creativity, latitude, and problem solving is required.\nOverall awareness of the entertainment business is important\nExcellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.\nAssets:\n1-2 years’ experience with the Ticketmaster systems (i.e., Host)\nBox Office experience\nYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)\nBusiness Acumen - You understand and can apply general business concepts, using external networks to understand market situations and industry. \nProblem Solving and Innovation - Gathering appropriate perspective and insights and seeking win-win solutions by remaining open to alternative approaches and being proactive in generating new ideas.
