Read on to find out more! 👇\n\nWhat you’ll be working on\n\nAs an Engineering Manager at TicketSwap, you’ll lead one or more cross-functional product development teams made up of backend, frontend, and mobile engineers. Your role sits at the intersection of people leadership, delivery, and technical direction.\n\nPeople & Team Leadership\n\n You coach and support engineers in their professional growth through regular feedback, mentoring, and clear expectations.\n\n You create an environment of psychological safety, accountability, and ownership, where people can do their best work over the long term.\n\n You handle performance management with care and clarity, supporting both high performers and those who need help to grow.\n\nDelivery & Ways of Working\n\n You help teams plan and execute work more predictably and sustainably, strengthening feedback loops and delivery flow.\n\n You work closely with Product Managers to set clear goals, define priorities, and align on outcomes.\n\n You evolve shared principles around planning, execution, and quality — while respecting each team’s context and autonomy.\n\nTechnical Direction & Operational Health\n\n You partner with senior engineers to help set technical direction, surface trade-offs, and resolve blockers.\n\n You ensure teams operate with a high level of operational maturity, including healthy on-call practices, monitoring, incident response, and continuous learning.\n\n You are technically fluent enough to challenge decisions, ask the right questions, and support sound engineering outcomes — without needing to be the strongest engineer in the room.\n\nDepartment-level Impact\n\n You collaborate with other Engineering Managers to improve how we run the engineering department as a whole.\n\n You contribute to evolving our engineering culture, processes, and organisational structures as we evolve.\n\n You act as a connector between teams, helping reduce friction and improve collaboration across the organisation.\n\nJob requirements\n\nAbout you\n\n You have managed engineering teams for multiple years in a product-focused environment.\n\n You’ve led cross-functional teams and understand the realities of balancing people, delivery, and technical concerns.\n\n You have experience improving ways of working across multiple teams, especially as organizations grow and mature.\n\n You’re comfortable operating in environments where teams are successful but not identical, and you know how to evolve shared practices without forcing uniformity.\n\n You believe that speed and quality are not opposites, and you care deeply about delivering real value to users while building resilient systems.\n\n You’re motivated by helping organisations and people grow — and you’re excited about contributing to TicketSwap’s
