The ideal candidate will be well versed in safety procedures, operated on a production line from start to finish, have an understanding for mechanical repairs including pumps, motors, valves, etc. Be extremely organized and able to communicate effectively.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: \nMust be comfortable working around and with hazardous chemicals (including proper storage and handling)\nOperate safely by wearing & maintaining PPE at all times, including working in accordance with state, federal, and local safety and quality guidelines \nRoutinely conduct safety checks of all operating systems; able to troubleshoot issues with production \nMust be able to understand and follow SOPs through the entire process to ensure the quality of the end product.\nMust be familiar, or show aptitude, with operating an entire production line via a HMI control panel\nMust be familiar, or show aptitude, with starting up and operating a boiler, cooling system, evaporator system and dryer in a manual condition or via automation \nHas the ability to understand and memorize the production lines Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) \nMust have a high level of mechanical aptitude (will be working on pumps, motors, valves, boiler, evaporator system, etc.)\nMust be proactive in continuous improvement of processes, product quality, etc.\nSupport or conduct QA/QC testing and documenting results (including recording data and related tasks)\nMaintain the equipment and cleanliness of the production line assigned\nDemonstrate a high level of attention to detail and quality work\nDemonstrate initiative with the ability to perform daily duties with little oversight\nReport accidents, safety violations, or other concerns and proactively work to implement changes\nMust be willing and able to work a shift schedule any days of the week, nights and possibly weekends could be a requirement due to production\nOther tasks as required by need or skillset.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: \nMechanical knowledge, ability to troubleshoot and repair system \nHigh safety awareness\n1-3 years of operation on a production line, or related experience\nComputer literacy is a must (email, docs, inputting data, etc.) \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \nHazwoper 40 and OSHA 10 certification \nForklift certification \nTechnical education \nWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:\nWork is performed within Tidal Vision’s warehouse. This position will be expected and required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas and while on-site. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
