The ideal candidate builds trusted relationships with internal teams and customers alike, representing TierPoint’s reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.\nThere shift schedule requirements:\nMonday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm\nResponsibilities\nHardware and Infrastructure Support:\nAssist in the Installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage devices, and network equipment.\nProvide remote smart hands support for customer advanced issues/concerns.\nMonitoring & Maintenance:\nMonitor and respond to alerts related to power, cooling, and network performance.\nPerform regular facility security and operational walk-throughs for issue identification, reporting and documentation. \nFollow Method of Procedures (MOP) for equipment & cabling maintenance.\nIncident Response & Troubleshooting:\nEscalate critical incidents to senior engineers or management when needed.\nProactively manage ticket queue for timely request response and completion.\nSecurity & Compliance:\nReact to alarms promptly and escalate any urgent or unresolved issues to senior staff.\nEscort and supervise third-party vendors and visitors when required.\nMaintain accurate records of equipment changes, incidents, and maintenance activities.\nMonitor security cameras.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh School degree or equivalent \nAdequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities\nExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills\nAbility to prioritize and organize effectively \nAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously\nAbility to work both independently and with others \nAbility to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines\nProficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications\nPreferred Experience\nPrior experience particularly in the data center industry\nWorking Conditions\nData Center Operations environment.\nShift Work:Availability for on-call duties and occasional shift work, including nights and weekends, as required by the data center’s operational needs.\n\nPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in controlled environments and handle physical tasks such as lifting hardware or navigating confined spaces\n\nPay Transparency TierPoint is committed to practices that promote pay equity and transparency.
