You will work closely with data architects, BI developers, and customer stakeholders, working in an Agile environment to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions.\nKey responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Spark/PySpark and SQL\nBuild lakehouse and data platform solutions for Banking and Financial Services\nIntegrate data from multiple enterprise and banking systems and transform requirements into reliable data pipelines and models\nBuild analytics-ready datasets supporting financial and regulatory reporting\nImplement data quality, reconciliation, lineage and monitoring for critical financial data\nOptimize Spark workloads, Delta tables and pipeline performance\nSupport modernization and migration from legacy ETL/data warehouse solutions\nApply engineering practices for sensitive and governed data, including access controls and traceability\nCollaborate with architects, analysts, SMEs and customer stakeholders in an Agile environment\nRequired experience & qualifications\n2+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a similar role\nStrong SQL and Python/PySpark skills\nHands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark\nExperience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions\nExperience with Azure or another major cloud data platform\nGood understanding of data lakes, data warehouses and data modeling\nExperience with data quality, testing, monitoring and performance optimization\nFamiliarity with Git, code reviews and CI/CD practices\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions\nExcellent spoken and written English\nA significant advantage would be\nExperience and domain knowledge in Banking or Financial Services\nExperience with data platform modernization, ETL or data warehouse migration projects\nRelevant certifications in Databricks, Azure, or AWS\nExperience working in international environments\n At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
