You will work across the full stack and play a key role in delivering quality software, solving complex technical challenges, and driving engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.\nWhen joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Senior Software Engineer\nYou join a skilled team of software engineers and technology professionals where you learn new things together with your colleagues.\nYou design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Java.\nYou build and enhance front-end features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or similar technologies.\nYou develop and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using Playwright with Cucumber.\nYou practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) by writing unit and integration tests before or alongside feature development.\nYou collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.\nYou participate in code reviews and help enforce coding standards, security best practices, design patterns, and clean code principles.\nYou troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across multiple layers of the technology stack.\nYou analyze, optimize, and tune database queries for performance, scalability, and efficiency.\nYou contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and support DevOps practices.\nYou document technical designs and actively participate in architecture discussions.\nYou contribute to building scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.\nWho we are looking for\nYou have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\nYou have strong proficiency in .NET and C#, with hands-on experience building web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core, including Web API, MVC, and Entity Framework.\nYou have solid experience with Java, preferably using Spring Boot or an equivalent enterprise framework.\nYou have hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for front-end or full-stack development.\nYou have hands-on experience developing BDD-style automated test suites using Playwright with Cucumber.\nYou have a strong commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience driving feature development through unit, integration, and acceptance tests.\nYou have experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.\nYou have experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.\nYou have demonstrated experience optimizing SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans for high-performance applications.\nYou are proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.\nYou have a strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.\nYou are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.\nAs a person, we believe you are a team player who takes action and demonstrates responsibility to organize your work and solve your tasks.
