Senior Business Analyst (Pre-Sales) - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Pre-Sales (BFSI) who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting. As part of our BFSI Consulting and Pre-Sales team, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, Solution Architects, and Technology experts to shape winning client solutions. This role combines deep BFSI domain expertise with business analysis, solution consulting, proposal management, and AI-enabled solution development to support strategic growth initiatives.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Senior Business Analyst - Pre-Sales (BFSI)

You will join a highly skilled consulting team where collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning are at the core of everything we do.

You will:

• Lead end-to-end pre-sales engagements for BFSI opportunities, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and solution presentations.
• Develop compelling solution narratives, value propositions, and business cases aligned with client objectives.
• Partner closely with Sales and Account teams, including a minimum four-hour daily overlap with US stakeholders, to define pursuit strategies and drive successful deal outcomes.
• Conduct discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand client challenges and translate them into business solutions.
• Create high-quality client-facing artifacts including proposals, presentations, solution decks, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept documentation.
• Manage the complete proposal lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant RFP/RFI submissions.
• Coordinate with Solution Architects, SMEs, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams throughout the proposal process.
• Maintain and continuously enhance reusable proposal assets, case studies, and solution libraries.
• Utilize AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to accelerate proposal development, research, and content creation.
• Design AI-driven solution propositions leveraging Generative AI, Machine Learning, NLP, Intelligent Automation, and Predictive Analytics for BFSI clients.
• Stay updated on emerging AI trends including fraud detection, AML/KYC automation, regulatory reporting, customer intelligence, and credit risk analytics.
• Define business requirements, process flows, solution blueprints, and perform gap analysis during pre-sales engagements.
• Support smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery through comprehensive documentation and solution handover.
• Present solutions confidently to senior business and technology stakeholders while ensuring commercial viability and technical feasibility.

Who we are looking for

• 7-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Solution Consulting, or Pre-Sales.
• Minimum 2-3 years of client-facing pre-sales or solutioning experience.
• Strong BFSI domain expertise across Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, Payments, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets.
• Proven experience managing or contributing to RFP/RFI responses and proposal development within technology services or consulting organizations.
• Hands-on experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of AI/ML use cases within BFSI and ability to communicate business value to clients.
• Strong experience preparing business analysis artifacts including BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Maps, and Solution Blueprints.
• Experience with Power BI (or equivalent reporting tools), JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and proposal writing skills.
• Willingness to work with a minimum four-hour daily overlap with US EST/CST time zones.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

We also believe you have

• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, or Technology Management.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, or SAFe.
• Knowledge of BFSI regulatory frameworks including Basel, IFRS 9, AML, Open Banking, or Core Banking Transformation.
• Previous experience working with a Product Organization, Global Consulting Firm, or Big 4 Consulting company.
• Strong commercial mindset, structured thinking, and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to thrive in multicultural, cross-functional, and agile environments.
