The role combines hands-on engineering, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with strong emphasis on code quality, automated testing, maintainability, and Agile delivery practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and enhance frontend functionality for modern healthcare-focused web applications\n\nBuild and maintain backend-for-frontend services using Node.js and NestJS\n\nCollaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, designers, QA engineers, and developers to deliver high-quality features\n\nParticipate in feature refinement, technical discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies\n\nContribute to building scalable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions following engineering best practices\n\nWrite and maintain unit and automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability\n\nInvestigate and resolve application issues in collaboration with support and QA teams\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across development processes, tooling, and team collaboration\n\nRequired Experience & Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software development experience\n\nStrong experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript\n\nSolid backend development experience with Node.js and NestJS\n\nExperience working in large-scale frontend projects and distributed development teams\n\nStrong understanding of modern frontend architecture and component-based development\n\nHands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright\n\nExperience applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing maintainable, well-tested code\n\nProficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows\n\nExperience with styling solutions such as Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Emotion\n\nUnderstanding of software engineering best practices, code quality, and maintainability\n\nStrong communication skills and fluent English\n\nA significant advantage would be\nExperience with UI component libraries such as Material UI\n\nFamiliarity with messaging and event-streaming platforms such as Kafka\n\nUnderstanding of Web Accessibility standards and best practices\n\nExposure to CI/CD workflows and tools such as GitHub Actions\n\nExperience collaborating with designers using tools like Figma\n\nFamiliarity with design systems and reusable component libraries\n\nExperience working in healthcare, regulated, or enterprise environments is considered an advantage\n\nFamiliarity with Agentic coding practices and AI-assisted development tools\n\n At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
