The role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of enterprise network environments, troubleshooting network-related issues, and delivering reliable connectivity and security solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, configure, implement and operate complex network and security solutions\nTroubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, NGFW solutions\nPatch management of network solutions\nNetwork performance and capacity monitoring and improving\nSecure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, standards and guidelines\nReport on network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information\nRemote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers\nRequired experience & qualifications\n5+ years of experience in network administration\n5+ years professional experience maintaining Cisco or Fortinet or Check Point Next-Gen Firewall environment\nAbility to quickly explore, examine and understand network problems and how it affects a customer’s business\nExperience in the use of network monitoring tools with a strong understanding of network protocols\nSolid understanding of L2/L3 protocols (deployment and troubleshooting) such as STP, LACP, L2 security, 802.1x, OSPF, BGP etc\nSolid understanding of TCP/IP stack protocols (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, ICMP)\nOn-hands experience with Wireless services (deploying and troubleshooting)\nUnderstanding of VPN solutions and encryption services\nBasic understanding of Windows/Linux OS operation\nExcellent troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively in English\nA significant advantage would be\nCisco CCNP Enterprise certification\nFortinet NSE 4 certification\nCheck Point CCSA certification\nExperience with any of Azure, AWS or GCP public clouds (AZ-700 certification or equivalent will be a plus)\nMeraki cloud deployment experience\nAutomation skills (Python/Bash scripting, API calls programming, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)\n At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
