Our customers trust in our solutions, which is why we are continuously looking for new talents.\nIn this role, you will contribute across the testing lifecycle, from hands-on exploratory and manual testing to automation, API testing and CI/CD integration. You will work with colleagues across disciplines and help us explore practical ways to use AI in quality assurance.\nWhen joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Test Engineer, you will\ndesign, perform and document manual tests with a clear focus on user needs and software quality\ndevelop, maintain and execute automated end-to-end tests across system and interface boundaries\ncarry out interface and API tests and translate findings into clear, actionable insights\nintegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to reliable delivery processes\nexplore meaningful uses of AI in testing\nWho we are looking for\nHands-on experience in software testing (manual and automated)\nAn ISTQB Foundation Level certification; ISTQB Advanced Level is an advantage\nA structured and precise approach, combined with initiative, ownership and a pragmatic hands-on mindset\nExperience with performance and load testing as well as container and cloud environments (OpenShift, Azure)\nExperience with testing of event streams including message validation, producers/consumers, ordering and idempotency as well as non-functional testing: failover & disaster scenarios, monitoring & alerting verification\nTest Environment Management & Service Virtualization (Mocking, Stubbing)\nExcellent German skills at C1 level for customer and team communication\nCuriosity about technology and a genuine enthusiasm for testing\nYou approach quality with curiosity and care, communicate openly, and enjoy solving problems together with others.
