In this role, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and quality engineers to build reliable test automation solutions and help deliver high-quality software faster.\nYou will be part of a collaborative engineering environment where quality is a shared responsibility, and automation is a key component of the delivery process.\nThis role is based on a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week in our Sofia office.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites\nCreate automated tests for web, mobile, API, and backend applications \nIntegrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines \nParticipate in requirements analysis and provide quality-related feedback early in the development lifecycle \nAnalyze test results, investigate defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues \nImprove test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall quality processes \nSupport performance, integration, and regression testing activities \nContribute to test strategy, automation standards, and best practices \nWork in Agile teams and actively participate in sprint ceremonies \nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation\nStrong programming skills in Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages \nExperience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools \nExperience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent \nKnowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI \nSolid understanding of software testing principles and Agile development methodologies \nExperience with source control systems such as Git \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills \nA significant advantage would be\nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) \nExperience with performance testing tools \nKnowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes \nExperience implementing AI-assisted testing solutions \nISTQB certification \nAt Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
