The role focuses on backend services, TM Forum APIs, and network-related data models, working with Micronova’s Product Development and Customer Value Teams.\nTechnology Stack\nBackend: Java 21, Quarkus, REST APIs, JUnit\nDatabases: PostgreSQL, Oracle\nPlatform and tools: Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence\nArchitecture: Microservices and legacy monolith components; strong backend focus\nFrontend: React / TypeScript (minor exposure)\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement backend services for telecom network management solutions\nDevelop and extend TMF-compliant APIs (e.g. TMF-633, TMF-639)\nImplement resource inventory and service catalog exposure for external systems\nWork with complex network and OSS data models (slicing, network resources, configuration data)\nDevelop microservices using Java 21 and Quarkus\nIntegrate services with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases\nSupport audit and optimization use cases (e.g. slicing audits, discrepancy detection)\nEnsure code quality through unit tests, CI pipelines, and SonarQube\nCollaborate within cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence\nCommunicate in English with product owners, architects, and project leads\nQualifications\n5+ years professional experience in Java backend development\nStrong experience with REST APIs and service-oriented architectures\nSolid knowledge of SQL and relational databases\nExperience with modern Java frameworks (Quarkus, Spring Boot, similar)\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools\nComfortable working in existing product codebases, not greenfield only\nFluent English (written and spoken)\nWould be an advantage\nBackground in telecommunications or network management\nExperience with TM Forum APIs (TMF-633, TMF-639 or similar)\nUnderstanding of OSS / BSS systems\nKnowledge of 3GPP / 5G network concepts (slicing, NRM, gNBs, etc.)\nExperience working with network or radio-related data models\nKubernetes / cloud-native experience beyond basic usage\n At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
