You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls, improving processes, and providing valuable insights to support business growth.\nThis is a hands-on position that offers genuine responsibility, alongside support for continued professional development, including funding towards relevant accounting qualifications and exams.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.\nManage the month-end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and financial controls.\nMonitor departmental budgets and expenditure, identifying variances and supporting cost-control initiatives.\nWork closely with external accountants, auditors, and suppliers to ensure compliance and maintain efficient reporting cycles.\nReview and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools, including identifying opportunities for automation.\nProvide ad hoc financial analysis to support commercial decision-making and operational planning.\nManage finance-related aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including payroll, system access, and documentation.\nAbout You\nA minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or management accounting.\nQualified or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification.\nDegree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.\nExperience working in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments, with a proven ability to streamline processes, manage change effectively, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, with experience preparing management accounts, reconciling ledgers, and reviewing balance sheets.\nExperience working across multiple entities and reconciling complex accounts.\nAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with hands-on experience using Xero within a multi-entity environment.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business.\nA proactive, ownership-driven approach and a commitment to delivering accurate, reliable financial
