We are looking for talents to join us on this exciting journey! \nResponsibilities\n- Provide site reliability engineering support to ensure highest level of availability of large-scale, fault tolerant recommendation systems.\n- Develop and implement disaster recover (DR) mechanisms for the recommendation system, ensuring continued system operation and service continuity.\n- Optimize monitoring and alerting systems by improving alert signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for the team.\n- Perform CPU and GPU resource optimization and utilization management, improving service performance and resource efficiency through capacity planning and system tuning.\n- Measure and monitor availability, latency and overall service health.\n- Practice sustainable incident response and postmortems, performing root cause analysis of incidents to influence future product design and response activities.\n- Mentor junior engineers and intern.\n任职要求 / Requirements\nQualifications\nMust have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.\nOf the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:\n- Working across all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of back-end and cloud native projects;\n- Producing technical designs to build new features and/or resolve software issues, including identifying and proposing optimal solutions, analyzing potential impact, estimating development efforts and working with customers to formulate requirements;\n- Analyzing error logs to identify issues and working with service owners to resolve issues, document their origins and develop future prevention mechanisms;\n- Automating system maintenance and deployment tasks by creating and scheduling cron jobs using Shell script; and\n- Monitoring system activity and resolving system issues.\nType: Full time, 40 hours/week\nLocation: San Jose, CA\nSalary Range: $255653 - $387600 per year\nTo Apply, click the apply button below.
