In this role, you will play a vital part in our growth trajectory. \nThe Senior Warehouse Operations Manager would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, managing a team of employees, and ensuring that all operational targets are met efficiently and effectively. \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities \nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. \nThis position will directly supervise Operations Managers, and indirectly manage the entire team within their area of responsibility.\nPlanning and coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods: You will be responsible for ensuring that products are received, stored, and distributed in a timely and efficient manner.\nManaging and training staff: Assist to recruit, train, and manage a team of employees to ensure that all tasks are completed effectively.\nDeveloping and implementing operational policies and procedures: Assist to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that all warehouse operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.\nMonitoring inventory levels: Assist to keep track of inventory levels and ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demands.\nEnsuring compliance with regulatory requirements: Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards; maintain a clean, organized facility.\nContinuously improving warehouse operations: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer and employee experience.\nManaging budgets: Manage budgets and ensure that all operations are carried out within the allocated financial resources.\nMaintaining relationships with customers and suppliers: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure that all operational requirements are met.\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper use of equipment and handling of hazardous materials.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications \nThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. \nCandidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings and late nights as required.\nPartner and establish strong working relationships with other departments that provide support to the overall operation.\nStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.\nExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.\nProficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nKnowledge of OSHA Standards and regulations.\nAt least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, logistics and personnel management.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.\nSAP experience preferred.\nWMS experience preferred.\nPIT experience preferred.\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\nMust have a valid driver's license.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times; seldom required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted\nMust be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.\nMust be able to access all parts of the company equipment.\n\nAbout TileBar \nAt TileBar, we are committed to fostering a workplace that embraces and celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion.
