Active in 5000+ cities and processing 15,000+ loan applications/day, NIRA is backed by and integrated with US-based Tilt.\nThe opportunity - Senior Backend Engineer, NIRA\nWe’re looking for a strong Senior Software Engineer to join NIRA’s engineering team. You will have the opportunity to shape strategy for the infrastructure and product roadmap. This role will give you the ability to have a direct and outsized impact on technical projects, leading to enormous potential for career-growth.\nHow you'll make an impact\nWork closely with the local NIRA Engineering team, and partner with the broader APAC Engineering team to increase the scale our platform can handle.\n\nExpand the platform to support multiple financial products and underlying instruments.\n\nDrive iterations on credit policy and improve credit decision systems.\n\nCollaborate with product, credit/finance, compliance, support and analytics teams.\n\nWhy you're a great fit\n7+ years of experience\n\nStrong experience using Java (ideally .net too).\n\nDemonstrated experience working in AWS-native environments, using tools like DynamoDB, Athena and Lambda.\n\nYou have experience with scaled technical solutions - have worked on projects to increase the scaleability of a platform.\n\nClear communicator, ability to clearly articulate technical solutions and collaborate with colleagues globally.\n\nProduct Engineer mentality - own your solutions from start to finish.\n\nDon’t meet every qualification?
