We always have and will continue to work with local\nbusinesses, artists, charities, and dispensary partners to support the\nmovements that we believe impact our industry and world for the better.\nAbout the role\nAs a Distribution Specialist, you would follow standard company\nprocedures, state compliance laws, and safety requirements while\ndelivering orders to dispensaries in a timely and efficient manner. The\nDelivery Specialist role is a physical, fast-paced position that\ninvolves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages that may\nweigh a minimum of 50 lbs. Under tight deadlines, our Delivery\nSpecialist safely operates cargo vans and climbs in and out of a\nvehicle.\nResponsibilities\nMaintaining the accuracy of orders going out and staying compliant with state regulations\nLoad van with the daily product to be sold as well as unload product for the customer;\nPerform routine inspection of company vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety;\nMaintain Inventory of daily merchandise loaded on the van\nPrepare and maintain records in accordance with company policiesand procedures and state compliance if the Compliance Admin is not able\nto be reached.\n\nEnsure that manifests are complete and accurate;\nReview routes that are generated by the Compliance Administrator:in case of no available admin you will be responsible for routing your\ndeliveries.\n\nHandling routine customer problems and serving as an interfacebetween the company and the customer, relaying any issues in an\nend-of-shift report.\n\nEnsuring that product distribution is accomplished to customersatisfaction in agreement with any contract terms and requirements;\n\nWorking closely with the manager and salesperson to improve route efficiency and expand existing customer relationships;\nOperation of vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as local, state, and other federal requirements;\nMaintenance of acceptable motor vehicle record;\nSafeguards and maintains company equipment and property, including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE);\nEnsures all areas are kept clean at all times;\nAttends all company training sessions; and other production duties as assigned.\nMerchandising case packs from the backroom to the sales floor (if granted permission by the dispensary)\nFilling display units or shelves with products Rotating products and removing defective and out-of-date products\nTidying up shelves and displays, knocking down boxes, and disposing of any waste\nAssist in the assembling and disassembling of promotional materials such as signs, banners, and cardboard displays\nReport stocks inventory, account issues, or positive feedback given by the dispensary\nWilling to help Production team during off-time of deliveries when hours are needed:\nThis would include maintaining the following standards:Ensure all production manufacturing processes are followedaccording to prescribed SOPs while also identifying opportunities to\nimprove efficiencies.\n\nPrepares and adheres labels to each package; verifies that labels for finished packages conform to State regulations\nPrepare material for production, processing, and assemblingcannabis and materials, weighing it on a certified scale to the exact\nweight and placing the product in appropriate bins/bags/storage.\n\nMaintains the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitationinside the processing area and participates in the clean-up of equipment\nand the workplace at the end of every day.\n\nAssists the Production team with daily activities of assigned shifts and helps with tasks as delegated by the Lead or Manager\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\nAdheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.\nManages time efficiently in order to meet productivity goals while consistently producing quality work.\n\nCandidate Qualifications\nSkills\nAction Oriented\nTime Management\nPerseverance\nEthics and Values\nFunctional/Technical Skills\nApproachability\nAbility to perform calculations.\nAbility to work within established warehouse procedures and practices\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to troubleshoot issues effectively\nFull understanding of the state compliance\nExcellent attendance record required.\nExperience\n2 - 3 years experience in driving large vehicles (required)\n2 - 3 years experience in deliveries (required)\n2 - 3 years experience in merchandising (preferred)\nEducational Background / Certificates\nHS Diploma or GED Equivalent (required)\nAdditional Qualifications\nMust be twenty-one (21) years of age\nMust provide proof of a clean driving record for the past 5 years\nMust meet the Federal Department of Transportation eligibilityrequirements including appropriate driver's license and corresponding\nsafety and medical certification as a condition of employment for this\nposition.\n\nMust consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the State Department of Health Services\nEmployment offers are contingent upon the successful completion ofthe federal and state criminal background check for an approved badge\nfrom the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n(The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
