Our Revenue Auditor is responsible for accurately recording daily audits and supporting efficient, seamless financial operations.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :\nResponsible for verification of accuracy and reconciliation of previous day’s departmental revenue activities.\nThorough review and follow up of necessary revenue center generated report data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.\nImplement and monitor compliance with all policies and procedures, regulations, and controls of the company.\nAssists with the monitoring of all financial activities on property, with respect to Revenue Accounting, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, the Federal and State Tax Commissions, and the NYS Commercial Gaming Commission are enforced throughout the Revenue Accounting Department.\nEvaluates various situations, with respect to Revenue Audits, and determines how best to handle same.\nEnsures a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction, in the area of Revenue Accounting, is achieved and maintained.\nFacilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings and conducting revenue/internal audit follow up.\nHeld accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.\nResponsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.\nDevelops and maintains financial spreadsheets on computer to be used for necessary reporting to appropriate entities.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience with audits preferred. Must be extremely numbers-oriented, detailed, and computer-literate, with superior spreadsheet skills, proficiency in applicable software highly preferred.
