The position will support the preparation and analysis of credit risk information to help the Bank identify emerging portfolio risks, monitor asset quality, implement credit models and support informed credit risk management decisions.\nKey Accountabilities: \nCredit Risk Data and Analysis\nExtract, compile and analyse credit portfolio data from relevant Bank systems and databases. \nPerform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of credit risk information. \nIdentify data gaps, inconsistencies and exceptions and coordinate with relevant functions for resolution. \nMaintain credit risk datasets and analytical files used for portfolio monitoring and reporting. \nSupport the development and maintenance of analytical tools, reports and dashboards. \nCredit Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting\nSupport regular monitoring and analysis of the Bank’s credit portfolio, including portfolio growth, composition, delinquency, NPLs, staging, provisioning and other key credit risk indicators. \nPrepare portfolio analysis by product, customer segment, industry, risk grade and other relevant categories. \nPrepare regular credit risk reports, portfolio analysis and dashboards and support the preparation of reported to Management and Risk Committee. \nIdentify changes and trends in portfolio performance and highlight potential areas of concern to the Credit Risk Management team. \nAssist in preparing early warning indicators and portfolio monitoring reports. \nSupport periodic and ad hoc portfolio analysis as required.\nCredit Risk Models \nSupport the implementation and ongoing monitoring of credit risk models and analytical tools. \nAssist in preparing and data and inputs required for credit models and ensure the accuracy of the data inputs and model outputs. \nSupport ECL calculations, staging analysis and analysis of movements in ECL and portfolio risk. \nAssist in monitoring model outputs and identifying unusual movements, data issues or exceptions. \nSupport periodic model performance monitoring and preparation of information required for model review or validation. \nSupport implementation of approved model changes and enhancements in relevant systems and reporting processes.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. \nAbility to analyse and interpret large portfolio datasets and identify trends and exceptions. \nStrong Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, data analysis and basic automation. \nKnowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, R or other data analytics tools would be an advantage. \nSound understanding of banking, credit risk indicators would be an advantage. \nGood written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to work collaboratively with Risk, Business, Finance, IT and Operations teams. \nStrong organisational skills and ability to meet reporting deadlines.\nQualifications, Experience and Competencies\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Banking or a related discipline. \n1–3 years of relevant experience in banking, credit risk, data analysis, management reporting or a related field. \nExperience in credit portfolio analysis, credit risk reporting or banking data analysis would be preferred. \nProfessional or technical training in data analytics, Excel, Power BI, SQL, or related areas would be an advantage.\nIf interested, please submit your Expression of Interest, Updated Resume, copies of your Educational Qualifications and References to; \nThe Head of People & Culture\nTISA Bank Limited\nPO Box 2993, Boroko, National, Capital District \nEmail: [email protected] \n\nONLY shortlisted applicants will be contacted\nApplications close at 04:00 PM, Friday 23rd October 2026\nNote: \nCandidates deemed successful after the ‘Interview Process” will be subjected to providing the following Pre-Employment Requirement(s). \nMedical Examination Report from recognized medical institutions.
