Forward Deployed Engineers are how we deliver on that - and the Product-Focus FDE is the one who lives closest to the client.\nYou'll be embedded in a bank's mission, not just their team. That means co-owning the strategic outcome: framing the problem, mapping the workflow, building the right thing, and knowing when to push back. Your day moves between executive conversations, product decisions, and hands-on building - wireframing an interface in the morning, walking a Chief Credit Officer through a prototype after lunch, shipping the next iteration before sign-off.\nThis is a builder role with a product spike. You'll write code, but your edge is your instinct for what to build and your fluency in the language of banking.\nWhat you'll do\nEmbed with banking clients to deeply understand their workflows, constraints, regulatory context, and the strategic outcomes they're chasing\n\nTranslate ambiguous business problems into specific, testable hypotheses - then design and ship the solution against them\n\nOwn product decisions on live engagements: scope, sequencing, UX, what to build vs. what to leverage from the Titan platform\n\nBuild full-stack, leaning on UI/UX and front-end craft to deliver client-facing experiences that feel native and trusted\n\nRun agentic workflows end-to-end: design the agent, configure the toolkit, evaluate, ship, iterate\n\nCodify what you learn into reusable patterns, playbooks, and platform feedback so the next engagement starts further down the field\n\nPartner with the broader Titan team - platform, GTM, ops - and represent the client's reality back to product and engineering\n\nWho you are\nA builder first. You may have taught yourself to code, switched careers into engineering because the opportunity was too interesting to ignore, or never stopped shipping side projects. The bias to build shows up in your history.\n\nStrong product and UX instinct. You sketch, you prototype, you think constantly about how products you use could be improved.\n\nFluent (or fluent-curious) in banking. You've worked in or alongside the industry - risk and controls, lending, credit, compliance, payments, treasury, deposits - or in a comparably regulated B2B context (e.g., insurance, healthcare, defense, energy).\n\nClient-ready. You've sat across the table from senior stakeholders. You know how to disagree without breaking trust, how to ask the question behind the question, and how to keep a room moving.\n\nComfortable owning workstreams. You can run a multi-stakeholder engagement without a heavyweight PM process behind you.\n\nHypothesis-driven. You hold opinions strongly and loosely - confident enough to commit, humble enough to change course when the evidence does.\n\nTechnical foundation\nPrompt and context engineering experience (e.g., understand the nature of language model responses, able to return equal results out of smaller models with better prompts and context)\n\nFull-stack development with a stronger spike in UI/UX and front-end (Python and TypeScript/React are our default stack)\n\nHands-on experience building agents using LangChain, LangGraph, DeepAgents, and model-provider SDKs (Claude SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK)\n\nWorking knowledge of agent search patterns - agent file search, vector and vectorless RAG\n\nFamiliarity with eval and training loops for AI agents\n\nExposure to AI security primitives: observability, data controls, model gateways\n\nWe don't expect every box checked. We do expect that the boxes you haven't checked, you'd be excited to learn this quarter.\nWhy Titan\nWe're building the AI platform for banking because most of the two million people employed by 4,000+ U.S. banks cannot safely and securely use modern AI tools at work - and none of them are using AI purpose-built for their domain. We're changing that. Our platform includes:\nTitan Foundry - secure gateway to top AI models for bank employees\n\nBanking-Reasoning Models - our flagship small language models for financial services, trained by ex-regulators and banking leaders\n\nBanking Agents - a configurable AI application layer with expertise in lending, compliance, underwriting, and operations\n\nOur team comes from Goldman Sachs, KeyBank, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. We've built and sold companies into the top 25 U.S. banks. We're pre-Series A, small, and shipping.\nA Product-Focus FDE here is not a solutions engineer in disguise or a TPM with a code editor open.
