This role blends operational excellence with strategic market engagement.\nResponsibilities\nBusiness Development & Opportunity Identification\nIdentify and support new project opportunities through relationships with contractors, developers, and internal commercial teams\nProvide input during early-stage project evaluation (feasibility, timelines, cost considerations)\nSupport proposal development, technical discussions, and project scoping as needed\nProject Execution & Delivery\nLead feasibility studies for proposed capital projects, including cost estimates and schedules, and recommend the most efficient technical solutions to minimize waste and maximize return on investment.\nLead permitting, construction, and installation activities.\nOversee the full lifecycle of concrete plant construction projects, from planning through commissioning.\nManage multiple projects across Florida simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.\nTrack project progress, identify risks early, and implement mitigation plans.\nPartner with Corporate and Business Unit purchasing teams to define scopes of supply and work for new equipment, construction, installations, and asset upgrades.\nEvaluate bids using life cycle cost analysis and assess engineering solutions for reliability, maintainability, and total manufacturing cost.\nDevelop and present mitigation plans for bringing projects back in compliance when needed.\nPrepare reports to present project progress, and inform business units on issues of quality, cost, and schedule compliance.\nTeam Leadership & Coordination\nLead and develop a team of project engineers, site managers, and contractors\nSet clear priorities, drive accountability, and coach team members for high performance\nEnsure strong coordination across engineering, procurement, operations, and finance\nContractor & Stakeholder Management\nSelect, manage, and evaluate contractor performance\nAct as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (vendors, local authorities, partners)\nLead project governance, reporting, and executive updates\nPlanning, Budgeting & Controls\nDevelop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans\nTrack and control project costs and performance metrics\nEnsure consistent use of project management standards and tools\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\nExperience\n10-12+ years of experience managing capital projects in construction or industrial environments;
