This is an hourly position reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform maintenance and repair of various types of mobile equipment in the company shop or on public roadways, as necessary and maximize equipment availability through the use of efficient and proactive preventative maintenance programs.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities:\nPerform routine and emergency maintenance and repair of Mixer Trucks, Loaders, and other heavy equipment\nPerform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, drive-train components, electrical, air conditioning, air brakes, computer diagnostics and basic welding\nAnalyze blueprints, drawings, work orders and diagrams in order to troubleshoot, repair and install equipment\nPerform daily preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and scheduling\nPerform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI); troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on vehicles and equipment; ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of components\nUtilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs\nComplete required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times\nWork under limited supervision using written or verbal instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks\nIdentify multiple projects and prioritize work to maximize truck utilization and plant productivity\nCommunicate clearly and effectively at various levels to obtain and provide information needed to accomplish goals\nMaximize equipment availability through the use of efficient and proactive preventative maintenance programs\nQualifications\nRequired Experience:\n1-2 years related experience and/or training in automotive or commercial vehicle repair \nProficiency in diagnosing and repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, drive-train components, electrical, air conditioning, air brakes, and computer diagnostics\nPrevious experience doing preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling\nKnowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair, certification preferred\nStrong mechanical skills and the ability to problem solve, E7 or MP7 engine experience preferred\nReady-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus\nDriving record with no DUI or Reckless convictions within the past 7 years\nCDL preferred or ability to obtain a CDL license\nDedication to maintain the highest standard of safety in all aspects of the job\nMust provide own tools\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nWorking Environment\nDisplay a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times\nWillingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required\nWorking outdoors with exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold and other outdoor environmental conditions, constant standing and walking, climbing, working from heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.\nAbility to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime\nAbility to pass pre-employment processes including criminal background check, physical and drug screen\nTravel between local sites as needed, travel as much as 100% of the time \nTitan America is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
