This salary exempt position reports to the Maintenance Manager.\nResponsibilities\nMaintenance & Reliability\nPerform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, rotary equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics).\nDiagnose mechanical failures and execute corrective actions to minimize downtime.\nConduct root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment issues and implement solutions.\nMonitor and optimize equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.\nEquipment & Asset Management\nDevelop and update maintenance procedures, SOPs, and equipment maintenance history in CMMS.\nEnsure critical spares availability and support inventory optimization.\nAssist in planning shutdowns/turnarounds and coordinate mechanical activities.\nProject & Improvement Work\nSupport installation, commissioning, and modification of mechanical systems.\nContribute to continuous improvement, cost reduction, and energy efficiency projects.\nReview technical drawings, P&IDs, manuals, and ensure compliance with mechanical standards.\nSafety & Compliance\nAdhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nLead or participate in safety inspections, risk assessments, and permit-to-work system.\nEnsure contractors and maintenance teams fulfill company safety and quality expectations.\nCross-functional Collaboration\nWork closely with production, electrical, instrumentation, and reliability teams.\nProvide technical guidance to maintenance technicians and support training when needed.\nOther duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.\nVisa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa support now or in the future. Candidates must be able to commute to the work location independently.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of rotating equipment, lubrication systems, bearings, alignment, vibration basics.\nFamiliarity with reliability tools (RCA, FMEA, 5-Why).\nAbility to read/interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under pressure.\nSafety-oriented mindset with attention to detail.\nPreferred But Not Required\n2 years of maintenance experience in industrial environments (cement, mining, manufacturing, energy, or heavy industry preferred).\nExperience with maintenance planning and CMMS (SAP, Maximo, Infor, etc.).\nExperience with condition monitoring (vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound).\nCertifications (e.g., CMRP, maintenance planning, safety training).\nExperience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, TPM).\nVisa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa support now or in the future.
