In this role, you will provide structural engineering expertise and technical support across Titan America’s network of facilities. The ideal candidate will help ensure the safety, integrity, compliance, and performance of existing structures while supporting the planning, design, permitting, and construction of new projects and facility improvements.\nThis position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of Titan America’s operations.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nAsset Integrity & Facility Assessment\nPerform periodic inspections and assessments of Titan America facilities to evaluate structural conditions and identify repair, maintenance, or upgrade needs.\nDevelop recommendations for additional investigations, inspections, remediation efforts, and capital improvements.\nMonitor and interpret changes to applicable building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements affecting Titan America facilities.\nProject Design & Engineering Support\nProvide structural engineering support to Project Managers throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases of projects.\nAssist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment related to structural scope.\nReview structural designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications prepared by consultants and contractors.\nSupport foundation and site design efforts through coordination of site surveys, geotechnical investigations, and soil analyses.\nPermitting & Compliance\nAssist with permitting, site development, and regulatory approval processes.\nEnsure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and permitting requirements.\nCoordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain required building, occupancy, and related permits.\nConstruction & Contractor Management\nDevelop scopes of work for structural, foundation, concrete, steel, and related construction activities.\nParticipate in the evaluation and selection of engineering consultants, contractors, and construction partners.\nProvide field support and oversight during critical phases of structural construction and installation activities.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, or a related engineering discipline.\n3-5 years of structural engineering experience, preferably supporting industrial, manufacturing, cement, aggregates, or large-scale facilities.\nWorking knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and applicable building codes.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.\nAbility to travel periodically to support inspections, assessments, and project activities across Titan America locations.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting heavy industrial, cement, mining, aggregates, or manufacturing operations.\nFamiliarity with project management processes and project delivery methods.\nExperience using AutoCAD and structural analysis/design software.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain licensure.\nExperience working with permitting agencies, geotechnical consultants, and construction contractors.\nWhy Join Titan America?\nAt Titan America, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing critical infrastructure across our operations while working alongside experienced engineering and project management professionals.
