In this role, you will work on video advertising flows, FAST channel playback, browser integration, OTT streaming solutions, and platform-level features. You will collaborate with international teams to deliver high-quality user experiences across connected TV devices.\nKey responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain launcher video advertising control flows and FAST channel playback features.\nImplement and enhance browser integration within the TV platform ecosystem.\nDesign, develop, and optimize HTML-based OTT streaming playback solutions.\nDevelop platform features and contribute to the evolution of Smart TV capabilities.\nIntegrate device functionality with backend services through HTTP/HTTPS and JSON-based communication.\nEnsure smooth playback experiences across various streaming technologies and content formats.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones.\nRequirements\nWhat makes you a great fit:\nAt least 5 years of experience developing applications or platform features for Smart TVs, connected devices, or embedded systems.\nExperience with C and/or C++ development.\nStrong knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript for feature development and UI/UX implementation.\nUnderstanding of Smart TV platforms and Linux-based TV operating systems.\nExperience with HTTP/HTTPS protocols and JSON-based communication with backend services.\nFamiliarity with OTT streaming technologies and playback workflows, including:\nMSE (Media Source Extensions)\nEME (Encrypted Media Extensions)\nMPEG-DASH\nKnowledge of video playback architectures and streaming control flows.\nA proactive and solution-oriented mindset.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a multicultural and globally distributed environment.\nDesirable skills:\nUnderstanding of digital video advertising technologies and FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) services.\nFamiliarity with browser engines and web-based application frameworks.\nBenefits\nReasons to apply:\nCompetitive compensation\nCompany benefits\nFriendly, diverse, and international work environment\nOpportunity to work outside of your comfort zone and develop professionally in an exciting and fast-growing CTV industry.\nChange the future of TV!
