The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, completion, and closing of agency projects while ensuring consistency with the organization’s strategy, mission, commitments, and goals.\nResponsibilities\nManage medium to extra-large complexity projects through the full project life cycle using appropriate methodologies, tools, planning, and communication.\nAcquire, develop, and manage project teams as needed to achieve project objectives.\nManage project scope, objectives, change management, risk mitigation, budgeting, stakeholder communication, vendor engagement, and project closure.\nDevelop and maintain project status reports and communicate key metrics to project stakeholders and the PMO.\nImplement change management practices in accordance with agency and PMO guidelines.\nForecast, manage, and acquire resources needed to successfully complete projects.\nEnsure project activities and deliverables comply with federal, state, and agency guidelines.\nFacilitate and manage contract processes from initiation through closure.\nPerform gap analysis and root cause analysis and provide recommendations to support successful project outcomes.\nLead group facilitation activities, particularly in situations requiring coordination and collaboration between independent parties.\nServe as a primary point of contact for project direction and coordination throughout the project life cycle.\nQualifications\nExperience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.\nStrong familiarity with and/or ability to use Microsoft Project.\nUnderstanding of and experience with the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide and Standards.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to
