Coordinates the adjustment of procedures/processes, as necessary, to facilitate continuous improvement, efficiency and productive gains. Responsible for understanding and supporting corporate Quality Assurance policy.\nJob Description:\nSchedules, coordinate and performs regular audits of department procedures and processes\nWork with department personnel to document procedures and process\nAbility to document, track, and communicate audit findings to the appropriate department head and Quality Manager\nSchedules and coordinates vendor and sub-contractor audits and reviews\nResponsible for reviewing component or system failures and facilitating requires process/procedure changes to correct future failures\nPrepares written reports of all audits accomplished\nResponsible for interpreting, supporting and communicating Quality Assurance policy, processes, and procedures published by the Quality function\nPerforms in-process inspections on most types of fabrication, welding and assembly of pressure vessels, piping, structural steel and production equipment\nInterprets drawings, customer specifications and standards of moderate complexity\nAddresses quality issues related to non-conforming material or components, and obtain timely disposition to maintain production flow\nHas comprehensive knowledge of ASME, ANSI, ASNT, ASTM, AWS, NACE, API, ASIC and SSPC national codes\nPossesses basic computer knowledge\nMaintains an attitude conducive to progress through positive change, continuous improvement, and an active contribution to the teamwork concepts.\nExcellent communication skills\nRequired Test:\nNone\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience\nFive (5) years related experience and/or training;
