This role serves as the primary leader for overnight field operations and requires strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nThe Field Supervisor ensures security officers perform their duties in compliance with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accountability for staffing, performance, and operational readiness. A key responsibility is ensuring all scheduled, cold-start, and critical coverage positions are properly staffed throughout the shift by proactively addressing staffing challenges, coordinating coverage, and preventing service interruptions.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nOversee security operations and provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to security personnel.\nConduct scheduled and random site inspections, patrols, and operational reviews.\nEnsure all posts are properly staffed, covered, and operating according to post orders.\nMonitor staffing levels, schedules, and deployment plans to prevent coverage gaps.\nAddress call-offs, staffing shortages, and operational issues by coordinating coverage and escalating concerns as needed.\nRespond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns professionally and effectively.\nVerify officer attendance, performance, patrol completion, and required reporting.\nComplete and review incident reports, activity logs, staffing documentation, and operational records.\nProvide coaching, feedback, and corrective action when necessary.\nAssist with onboarding, training, and development of security personnel.\nMaintain compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.\nCommunicate effectively with clients, management, dispatch, and field teams.\nUtilize scheduling systems, reporting platforms, and security technology accurately.\nServe as a visible leadership presence and resource for overnight security teams.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nActive Wisconsin Private Security Person License required and must remain current.\nPrevious security, law enforcement, military, or supervisory experience preferred.\nProven leadership ability with experience managing personnel.\nValid driver’s license with clean driving record.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to successfully complete required background checks and screening requirements.\nKey Competencies\nCritical Thinking: Ability to evaluate situations, identify risks, and make effective decisions during incidents, emergencies, and staffing challenges.\nAttention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate documentation, review reports, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance.\nAdaptability: Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, staffing needs, client requests, and operational demands.\nAccountability: Takes ownership of responsibilities while maintaining professionalism, reliability, integrity, and high service standards.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.\nAbility to conduct site inspections and patrols in various conditions.\nAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.\nAbility to respond quickly to emergencies and critical situations.\nAbility to travel between client locations as needed.\nPreferred Characteristics\nThe ideal candidate is a dependable, proactive leader with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
