It is a hybrid role 2 days from home 3 in the office, located near Bond Street.\nThis is far more than a traditional service desk position. You'll be the go-to expert for colleagues across the business, providing 1st and 2nd line support while working with modern Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Active Directory. Working closely with a collaborative team of engineers across the UK and internationally, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact from day one, contribute to business-critical initiatives, and develop your career within one of the UK's fastest-growing wealth management firms.\nWe're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, takes ownership, and genuinely enjoys helping people.\nJob responsibilities\nOffering IT services & support over telephone, email, remote, but mostly face-to-face.\nAs needed to assist the migration team to onboard new companies acquired into the group M365 tenant.\nUsing ServiceDesk+ for logging, monitoring, and managing tickets.\nWork closely with users from all global offices to resolve issues, keeping users informed/updated and escalate where appropriate.\nFollow industry best practice to proactively maintain the infrastructure to prevent failures/issues and improve performance, availability, and resilience.\nBuild and maintain corporate PCs and laptops, keeping adequate spares-levels (inventory).\nAdministration of starters and leavers, getting quotes and placing orders (procurement).\nGuide and support users in following group IT standards, policies & procedures.\nManage/participate in project initiatives (as assigned) to achieve broader IT objectives\nContribute to and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.\nThe role may involve occasional travel in the UK to different sites.\nAhere to consumer duty.\nEducation and requirements\n5+ years’ experience with desktop support in Microsoft environment\nExcellent English communication skills, comfortable in high engagement environment.\nA+ PC technician / N+, MD100, MD101 certifications are advantageous.\nDecent understanding of networking, routers, firewalls.
