This is a role for someone who can bring strong technical judgement and ownership, while remaining actively involved in designing, building, deploying and supporting data solutions.\nAs part of Titan Wealth’s Group Data & Analytics team, you’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle, building and maintaining secure and scalable data platforms, databases, integrations and data pipelines using Microsoft Azure technologies. You’ll have real ownership of solutions from initial design through to deployment, operational support and continuous improvement.\nImportant: all applicants must complete the screening questions as part of their application. Candidates who do not answer the screening questions will not be progressed.\nResponsibilities\nData Platform Engineering\nDesign, develop and maintain scalable, secure and resilient data platforms on Microsoft Azure.\nDevelop and support solutions on SQL Server, Azure SQL Managed Instance and related data services.\nContribute to the design and optimisation of data platform architecture.\nSupport database deployment, release management and environment promotion processes.\nEnsure solutions align with engineering standards, operational requirements and best practices.\nData Integration & Pipeline Development\nDesign, develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data Factory.\nDevelop integrations with internal systems, third-party platforms, APIs and file-based interfaces.\nBuild reusable data ingestion and processing frameworks to improve delivery efficiency.\nImplement and support batch and near real-time data processing solutions.\nInvestigate and resolve data integration and pipeline failures.\nData Modelling & Database Development\nDesign and maintain relational and dimensional data models to support reporting and analytical requirements.\nDevelop and optimise stored procedures, views, ETL processes and database objects.\nImplement data validation, reconciliation and quality control processes.\nIdentify and address database performance and optimisation opportunities.\nDevOps & Automation\nWork within source-controlled development processes using Git and Azure DevOps.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines for database and data platform solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews and engineering quality assurance processes.\nDevelop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.\nContribute to engineering standards, patterns and best practices.\nOperational Support & Reliability\nImplement controls supporting data quality, security and regulatory compliance requirements.\nSupport data lineage, auditing and traceability across the data platform.\nApply secure development practices and least-privilege access principles.\nEnsure solutions comply with Titan Wealth governance, security and data protection standards.\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement\nWork closely with business stakeholders, analysts, architects and engineering teams.\nParticipate in Agile delivery processes and ceremonies.\nContribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives.\nRemain current with emerging Azure, SQL Server and data engineering technologies.\nCritical Skills and Experience required\nStrong SQL Server and T-SQL development and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience developing and supporting Azure Data Factory solutions.\nExperience working with Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database and SQL Server.\nExperience designing and supporting ETL/ELT and enterprise data integration solutions.\nStrong understanding of relational database design and dimensional modelling.\nExperience integrating with APIs, file-based interfaces and third-party systems.\nExperience using Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployment processes.\nExperience supporting and operating production data platforms.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nQualifications (Essential & Desirable)\nDegree (or equivalent experience) in a numerate or analytical subject.\nCertifications in Power BI, Azure, or SQL are advantageous but not essential.\nTitan Key behaviours\nCommercial Awareness\nInnovation\nCollaboration\nTeam contribution\nProfessionalism\nPlease note\nCompletion of all screening questions is mandatory.
