You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical research, report writing and analytical support, helping our advisers deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across Jersey and the UK. You will play an important role in maintaining the quality and integrity of financial advice, ensuring recommendations meet the highest professional and regulatory standards.\nThis opportunity is ideal for an established paraplanner who enjoys working on complex financial planning cases, including investment, retirement, tax-efficient planning and trust solutions. In return, you'll join a dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation with access to a broad network of experts, ongoing professional development opportunities and the chance to play a meaningful role in our continued growth journey.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist the Head of Financial Planning in evaluating the quality of financial advice provided to clients\nProvide high-quality specialist support and guidance to Financial Advisers, ensuring advice meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.\nSupport the growth and development of the paraplanning function by providing training, coaching and mentoring to new and developing Paraplanners.\nManage team workloads, allocating tasks effectively and promoting best practices to ensure the delivery of high quality outputs, as the paraplanning team expands.\nWrite suitability reports, including tax-efficient investment strategies and trust planning, create suitability report templates.\nPeriodically review and update suitability report templates to align with regulatory standards.\nResponsible for reviewing and completing advice suitability checks on cases.\nTechnical Competencies:\nIndustry Knowledge: Understanding of the regulatory financial sectors of both Jersey and the UK, including sales principles challenges, and best practices.\nFinancial Analysis: Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights for complex cases.Report Writing: Proficiency in writing detailed suitability reports, including tax-efficient investment strategies and trust planning.\n\nCRM Software Proficiency: Familiarity with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is essential.
