Our customers count on Tive to ensure that their shipments are delivered on time and in full-because every shipment matters.\nAs a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer y ou will own global regulatory compliance for all Tive hardware, so every product can be legally sold and used in every market we serve.\nOur ideal candidate has:\nBS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)\n5+ years in global regulatory compliance for wireless, cellular, and battery powered hardware\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nOwn all product certifications worldwide: radio, EMC, safety, telecom type approvals, and carrier certifications.\nLead compliance for new products through NPI, from defining requirements to certification sign-off before launch.\nDesign for compliance- work with hardware and RF engineering (pre-scans, antenna, RF debug) so products meet regulatory requirements on the first pass\nKeep shipping products compliant through certificate renewals, re-certification after product changes, and tracking of new regulations.\nOwn battery, lithium, and dangerous goods compliance, including airline approvals.\nOwn environmental and labeling requirements, such as RoHS, REACH, WEEE, and regulatory markings.\nManage test labs, certification bodies, and in-country representatives, along with the certification budget.\nMaintain the global compliance tracker and customer-facing certificates.\nBe the go-to regulatory expert for Sales, Support, and Operations, prioritizing requests based on demand.\nPartner closely with Trade Compliance so product approvals, markings, and import documents line up with customs and export requirements in each country.\nCoordinate with external third-party test labs to review test plans, quotations and manage schedules, samples, bug fixes, and re-testing.\nPrepare, review, and submit technical filings for regional regulatory approvals, including FCC (USA), ISED (Canada), RED/CE (EU), and MIC (Japan).\nSupport hardware engineers colleagues involved in debugging certification failures (SAR, OTA, Protocol, RF EMC) and drive root-cause analysis.\nMaintain Declaration of Conformity (DoC) records, and compliance summaries for production clearance.\nCompensation:\n$140,000 - $185,000 base salary\nThe specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.\nWhat does Tive offer?\nA chance to join what may very well turn out to be the most important company in your career.\nThe autonomy and resources to build what you know how to build.\nWork with a committed global team that have each others back.\nOffice-based or hybrid options.
