You will need to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development while keeping product quality and security as the priority. You will be responsible for most design and technical decisions within assigned scope. \nAI & InnovationDrive adoption of Gen AI and Agentic AI to enhance analytics, automation, and decision-making.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models tailored to business needs and implement DAX calculations and optimize queries for performance. \n\nCreate and maintain data models ensuring accuracy and scalability and connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs). \n\nBuild JAVA/.NET/Python based UI Screens for report facilitating the reports. \n\nMonitor and improve report performance using best practices for data modeling and query optimization. \n\nImplement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage user access and ensure compliance with organizational data governance standards. \n\nWork closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, translate the requirements into technical specifications and deliverables. \n\nGuide junior engineers and provide best practice recommendations. \n\nConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to BI development standards. \n\nManage Power BI Service environments, including workspaces and gateways and Support CI/CD pipelines for BI solutions. \n\nStay updated on Power BI / Sigma features, data visualization trends, and Azure BI ecosystem. \n\nDevelop solid understanding of the end-to-end business application processes. \n\nRecommend enhancements to improve reporting efficiency and user experience. \n\nMinimum Qualifications \nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain \n\n5+ years of strong experience in BI/reporting development, with at least 2–3 years focused on Power BI / Sigma. \n\nShould have good experience in UI screens development to facilitate the reports. \n\nHands-on experience in leading and delivering medium to large scale projects end to end whilst maintaining good understanding of coding standards, Performance tuning and database concepts. \n\nDemonstrated leadership in the fields of Reporting from data warehousing, database and data lake. \n\nStrong communication and influence skills. solid team player with mentorship skills. \n\nAbility to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals. \n\nShows a positive, open-minded, and can-do attitude. \n\nStrong automation and engineering mindset. \n\nExperience working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environment. \n\nExperience in the following technologies:Strong experience with Power BI or other enterprise BI platforms (Like : Cognos & Sigma) for developing scalable, high-impact dashboards, reports, and semantic data models tailored to retail operations. \nStrong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language) for complex business logic, data transformations, and performance optimization in large-scale reporting environments. \nExpertise in dimensional data modelling, including star and snowflake schemas, to support consistent and reusable analytics. \nHands-on experience integrating Power BI or similar BI tools with Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building robust, automated data pipelines and analytics workflows. \nProficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across cloud (Azure, Snowflake) or on-premises data environments. \n\nExperience with Python for automation, data wrangling, and enhancing BI workflows with advanced analytics or ML model outputs. \n\nShould have good experience in UI screens development to facilitate the reports Using JAVA/ .Net / Python.\n\nWorking knowledge of GitHub or similar version control systems for collaborative development, code reviews, and CI/CD integration. \nProficient in Shell Scripting for automating data workflows and managing system tasks, especially in Linux/RHEL environments. \nFamiliarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Azure Scheduler for orchestrating complex BI and data engineering jobs across distributed systems. \nNice To HavePrograming languages like Spark, Python, PySpark. \nExperience with tools such as JIRA, Service NOW. \nKnowledge of IT Security & Compliance \nExposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for BI solution deployment \nFamiliarity with advanced analytics and machine learning integration within BI platforms \nIn addition to our open door policy and supportive work environment, we also strive to provide a competitive salary and benefits package.
