Do you want to base your graduation project on questions that make an impact in an organisation actively building and deploying AI? We may have a place for you to do your thesis research with us at TKH AI.\n\n Thesis Internship - 2027\n\n On-site, Hybrid\n\n Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands\n\n Core AI\n\nAbout Us\n\nTKH Group is a set of technology companies focused on client-centric technology systems in high-growth markets. TKH AI Technology, the group’s AI hub, addresses AI challenges faced by around 60 companies across the group. In building AI products and running AI projects with/for our sister companies, we come across many questions that are worth examining more closely from a research perspective; these form the starting point for thesis projects.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a graduation intern at TKH AI Technology, you will shape the direction of your research project together with our AI engineers and researchers, and then carry out the work as the basis for your master's thesis. We are looking for someone we can think with, so you will have people to spar with and draw on for support throughout. You will have the space to investigate a genuine problem in depth and develop findings that can take different forms — a working prototype, or knowledge and insight that others can build on. Possible research directions include (but are not limited to):\n\n Cache-aware smart routing for LLMs\n\n Understanding and Overcoming Failure Modes of RAG Systems\n\n Context Management for Long-Running LLM Agents\n\n Interpreting Industrial Schematics as Grounded Knowledge for Retrieval and Few-Shot Visual Recognition\n\n Digital Twins for Predictive Maintenance in Manufacturing\n\n …or your own proposed project\n\nJob requirements\n\n Currently pursuing a Master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field, preferably at a Dutch university\n\n Able to think, understand, and build: you can reason through a problem, you have the theoretical grounding to understand why an approach works, and you can turn that into working code\n\n Comfortable with Python and Git, and able to pick up the tools and frameworks relevant to your research topic\n\n Experience working with AI tools to get things done\n\n Strong problem-solving skills; self-motivated and independent\n\n Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n A working environment where the focus is on solving real problems\n\n Support and guidance from AI engineers and researchers who will engage with your work and think alongside you\n\n Access to the tools and infrastructure you need to do your research\n\n The chance to present your research and results to the team and engage with people who take it seriously\n\n A pleasant office with good views, fresh lunch daily, and the occasional vrijmibo","description_format":"text","description_chars":2873,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Netherlands","iso":"NL","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence","Security Compliance"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-29T18:15:45Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["seen:0","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-30T05:48:23Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/tkh-2026-window-thesis-internship-2027","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/tkh-2026-window-thesis-internship-2027.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-30T16:20:10Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4513,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-31T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":2160705},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=2160705"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Ftkh-2026-window-thesis-internship-2027"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Ftkh-2026-window-thesis-internship-2027"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Ftkh-2026-window-thesis-internship-2027"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/tkh-2026-window-thesis-internship-2027\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Ftkh-2026-window-thesis-internship-2027"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3474260}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"tkhgroup.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3474260},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people);
