Senior Python Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for Python Engineers.You will work closely with the Engineering Manager.Product Analyst's/Managers to refine user stories and requirements and identify,prioritize and execute tasks within the software development lifecycle.
Develop and maintain Python applications
Design and deliver reliable, readable, and maintainable code
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Implement new features, perform code reviews, provide technical support, and resolve bugs
Contribute to system architecture design and create technical documentation
Actively participate in code reviews and help improve overall engineering standards
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing, regarding technical solutions and project progress
Our tech-stack is continually evolving but to give you a flavour of what we’re currently working with here are some of the tools we use;
Languages:Python
Tools:Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, cloud AWS, Grafana, Firebase
Methodologies:Agile, Scrum; we have 14 day sprints and SU are held online using Slack
Requirements
At least 4-5 years of experienceas Software Developer. Should have an experience withfintech processesand big plusknowledge of cards issuing/processing. Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI). Fluency inSQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting. Ability to write easily understandable and maintainable code in multiple programming languages. Experience with SQL databases {PostgreSQL, MySQL}. Good understanding and working knowledge ofDjango. Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence. Experience in working in cross-functional teams is an advantage. Exellent communication skills.
