Accounting Assistant

Touchmark on West Century is Bismarck/Mandan’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking the right candidate to join our team as the Accounting Assistant - Part Time Position.

Looking for the right candidate with a background in bookkeeping and accounting!

As the Accounting Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with the leadership team at the community, as well as the accounting team at Touchmark’s central office

Assists Business Office Manager with projects/assignments as needed

Processing accounts payables for Bismarck and Sioux Falls locations 

Processing payroll for Bismarck and Sioux Falls locations (semi-monthly) 

Human Resource responsibilities to include onboarding, HCM management, I9 compliance, background checks 

The ideal candidate will have: 

Experience processing payroll

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Experience with Accounts Payable

Excellent time-management skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize among multiple and/or competing tasks

A genuine interest in working with a senior population

Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, and staff members.
